Robby Anderson is confident he can glow in Adam Gase’s new strategy.
The New York Jets receiver is coming from a comparatively disappointing effort, compiling 752 yards on 50 receptions with six TDs, but had a stronger end to the year that suggests he could be in for a bounce-back year in 2019.

„That was a down year for me,“ Anderson said before this offseason, through Manish Mehta of this NY Daily News. „I understand my capabilities. I understand what I want to become… and that is the best receiver in the NFL.“
Every NFL player who measures the field should have the mentality of working toward being the best at his trade, that’s the task of a professional athlete.
Whether or not he can reach those challenging heights, Anderson projects to have a larger part in Gase’s scheme. The recipient expects to be utilized more than a threat this year.
„We are going to keep trying to think of ways to get him the ball, approaches to create variety in his paths,“ Gase mentioned previously. „Instead of just doing a couple of things, maybe we can open that thing up to five, six, seven matters to where he’s a threat on multiple levels whether it be under, intermediate or down the field.“
Anderson is entering the last year of the contract. A season under Gase could portend a huge payday in 2020.
